Inspiring faith and fellowship
The main purpose of the BLAST Youth Group is to inspire young people and foster strong fellowship. We hope that through participation, kids and teens will deepen their Christian faith, build lasting relationships, and find encouragement to continue their spiritual journey. It's a place for growth, support, and shared experiences.
Who can join BLAST?
The BLAST Youth Group is designed for confirmation-age youth, typically around 14 years old, and continues through high school. We welcome all young boys & girls in this age range who are looking for a supportive community, opportunities to explore their faith, and ways to make a positive impact.
Exciting activities and events
BLAST is known for its engaging and impactful activities. Our youth have proudly attended the last four National Youth Gatherings, with plans to attend the next one in Houston, Texas, in 2028. We also host the 11th Annual Free Community Thanksgiving Dinner in November, an incredible opportunity for service and community outreach. These events make BLAST special and provide unique experiences for our members.
When and where we meet
The BLAST Youth Group meets as often as possible, typically at least once a month. Our gatherings usually take place at the Immanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church in Davenport, Iowa. Specific dates and times are announced regularly, so please check our events calendar for the latest information.
