Pastor's Story

Pastor Bradley Ferch was ordained into the ministry of the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod on July 19, 2016, and was called to serve as Pastor of Immanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church, Davenport, Ia. As of 2021, he serves as the Davenport Circuit Visitor (a pastor who helps to oversee the other pastors within our circuit). He is the volunteer Chaplain for the Davenport Disabled American Veterans (DAV) and American Veterans (AMVETS) organizations. In the past, he served as a Board Member of the Lutheran Family Service Board of Directors and Circuit Pastor for the Lutheran Women’s Missionary League (LWML).

Born in Waterloo, Ia., Pastor Ferch lived in Elk Run Heights until moving to Readlyn, Ia. After graduating from high school, he enlisted into the United States Air Force and served for more than 8 years in various southern states before being honorably discharged. His final duty station was at Luke Air Force Base, Glendale, Ariz. He then served America’s Veterans at the Carl T. Hayden Veterans Administration Hospital in Phoenix, Ariz., for an additional 13+ years.

In 1999, he married Carole, and they have two daughters, Madison and Lillian. Pastor Ferch attended Concordia Theological Seminary in Fort Wayne, Ind., where he graduated with a Master of Divinity.
